The classroom rules and procedures apply to both the reading and writing classes!
1. All school rules will be enforced in my classroom. For example: No personal electronic devices of any kind will be tolerated. If you are late for class, you must bring a pass. No food in the classroom of any kind. WATER in a clear bottle is the only beverage allowed in the classroom.
2. Students will speak in ENGLISH when in the classroom.
3. Students will not disrupt others from learning. No teasing or laughing at another student.
b. No inappropriate language will be permitted.
4. Students will not disrupt the teacher from teaching.
5. Students will have respect for themselves, others, and the teacher at all times.
6. It is the responsibility of the student to get notes/materials when he or she is absent. The best time to come and get missed work is during AM/PM tutorial, NOT during class.
7. Late assignments will only be eligible for ½ credit.
8. Students will sign IN AND OUT of the classroom after receiving permission from the teacher. There will be NO bathroom breaks during the first ten minutes of class or the last ten minutes of class. During 4th block, students are not permitted to leave the classroom after 2:45 unless there is an emergency.
9. Students are to maintain the order of the classroom. This means picking up after themselves, replacing materials at the end of class, pushing in their chairs, etc.
This list of rules is a working document. If, at any time, the teacher feels the need to change or add new rules, students will follow them effective immediately.
